Want to explore StoreMine with a fully stocked shop before adding your own products? The DemoSeeder builds a complete spa & wellness store: 26 products with images, categories, brands, customers, orders in every state, reviews, marketing campaigns and a full staff team.
Seeding the demo
The easiest way is during installation: tick Import demo data on the admin-account step of the setup wizard and it's imported before you ever sign in.
On an already-installed store, seed it from the CLI instead:
php artisan db:seed --class=DemoSeeder --force
php artisan db:seed --class=DemoExpansionSeeder --force # marketing content: campaigns, popups, segments
Staging only
The demo seeder is meant for evaluation and staging environments. Don't run it on a live store — it creates well-known accounts with the password 12345678.

The exact staff emails are printed in the terminal when the seeder finishes.
What gets created
- Catalog — 26 products across skincare, hair care, bath & body, essential oils, wellness tea, men's grooming, aromatherapy and gift sets; variants, attributes, brands
- Sales — orders in every state (pending, paid, shipped, failed, refunded) so every admin screen has something to show
- Customers — 10 customers with addresses and order history
- Marketing — subscribers, dynamic segments ("high spenders", "lapsed"), a sample campaign, a promotion and a popup
- Content — hero slides, static pages and demo reviews
About the demo images
Demo products and hero slides point at remote image URLs on Unsplash (Unsplash License) rather than files bundled in your download. Two consequences worth knowing:
- The demo store needs internet access to render its images. On an air-gapped machine the layout is correct but the tiles are blank.
- The photography is not licensed as part of StoreMine and is not yours to ship. Replace every demo image with your own product photography before you go live — upload through Admin → Media, then swap each product's gallery.
Starting fresh
When you're done exploring and want a clean production database:
php artisan migrate:fresh --force
php artisan db:seed --force # baseline only, no demo content
Caution
migrate:fresh drops all tables. Never run it against a database with real orders.
